Meet our Pastors
Dr. Steven Oswalt

Steve and his wife, Rhonda, came to us from Boise, Idaho where they ministered for 10 years and homeschooled their two daughters: Kimberly recently graduated with a master’s degree in Communication Studies and works in St. Louis, and Katey will graduate from Lindenwood University this spring and begin the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at the University of Missouri in June.
Some of Pastor Steve’s interests include books by C.S. Lewis and John Piper, the movies Star Trek and Star Wars, reading mystery novels, and following the Dallas Cowboys football.

• Master of Divinity, SWBTS, 1977
• Bachelor of Business , Texas A&M, 1970
• Associate Pastor, Pastoral Care, BBC, 2013 – present.
• Pastor, Crestview Baptist Church, Stow, OH, 1997–2013.
• Pastor, Providence Baptist Church, Bellvue, OH, 1987 – 1997.
• Pastor, Crosspoint Baptist Church, Souderton, PA, 1978 – 1987.
As a young teen I became aware of a sense of guilt in my life and a need for direction. A man shared with me that Jesus came to forgive our sin, to take away our guilt, and to guide our life. I asked Jesus into my life to be my Savior and Lord; he has been with me ever since. I was called into the ministry while leading a Bible study for the BSU (now Baptist Collegiate Ministry). In 1973 I fully surrendered to the call of God and entered into the Gospel ministry.
Pastor John is married to Judy McIntyre. They live in Stow. Judy enjoys being a part of the Women’s Ministry at Broadman and leads a women's Bible study on Tuesday afternoons.

Deacons are responsible for ministerial support of the pastor and administering church discipline and conflict resolution to promote church unity. They serve and minister to church members that have been assigned to their respective care group.
