YEC 2006: Another WOW experience!

YEC this year was not just for the youth, I learned more about being a Christian this past weekend than I have in a really long time. For me it was not about the speaker Ergan Caner, although God spoke through him to me. It was not about the bands, although Big Daddy Weave is one of my favorites. It was what God did in my heart and the hearts of many others in our church that impacted me the most.

We took 45 people total to YEC, the most this church has ever taken to YEC…WOW once again! I truly believe that God bonded many of the youth and moved in their hearts. Now I pray that they will all continue to let God move in their lives.

If you were not at Wednesday Night Worship you truly missed a great blessing! The youth and adults that attended YEC shared with the congregation what they experienced. There were tears and laughter. There was evidence of God’s hand moving and continuing to move in our youth. It was awesome! So please join me as we continue to pray that this experience will not be a one-time experience that fades away, but that God will use it to stir our hearts to greater growth and commitment.
