These are only some of the positions that are currently in need of volunteers.  However, we encourage all those in the family of God at Broadman to find a ministry and get plugged in.  Below is a list of most of the ministries we have at Broadman along with a brief description.  If you are interested please contact Rev. Terry Sneed, Associate Pastor - Ministry or contact the leader of the ministry you are interested in.

PASTORAL CARE MINISTRIES

CHURCH COUNCIL

Church council assists the pastor in leading the ministry efforts of the church. (Church approved)  

DEACONS MINISTRIES

Deacons serve as family care group ministers, serving the pastor and families under their care.  (Church approved)

OUTREACH TEAM 

Be a part of a team that follows up on visitors and helps implement an intentional outreach plan for the church.

PASTORAL PRAYER TEAM

Pray for the pastor and his family daily.  Additionally, meet with the pastor before worship service and pray for God’s anointing over the service.

PRAYER CHAIN MINISTRY

This ministry is committed to praying for the immediate prayer needs of the church.       

DISCIPLESHIP MINISTRIES

CHILDREN’S CHURCH – (Preschool – 5^th grade)

Lead, facilitate, and help children worship on Sunday mornings during the worship service on a rotating basis. 

NURSERY – (Bed babies – 1 year old)

This ministry takes care of babies during the scheduled worship and activities of the church on a rotation.

TODDLERS – (2 year old –  preschool)

This ministry takes care of young children during the scheduled worship and activities of the church on a rotation.

TEAMKID – (Preschool – 6^th Grade)

Teachers and Assistants who reach out and teach our children about Jesus on Wednesday nights as part of the WB.   

YOUTH ALIVE – (7^th – 12^th Grade)

Ministering to young people on Wednesday nights, Sunday mornings and/or special events. 

ADULT DISIPLESHIP TRAINERS 

If interested in being a Discipleship trainer on Wednesday nights see Pastor Chris or Terry Sneed.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

VBS is a time to reach out to the community and touch the lives of young children and families for Christ during the third week of July each year.  There are all kinds of ministry opportunities from decorations, food preparation, teaching, music, and helpers.   

LIFE IMPACT GROUPS

These are small groups that study the Bible and foster personal relationships.  These groups meet Sunday Mornings at 9:45.  If interested in attending, teaching or helping with administrative tasks see Pastor Chris or Jennie Hartman.

WOMEN ON MISSION

Touching the lives of women, this ministry has study groups and mission projects throughout the year.   If you want to be a part of a women’s group sign up.

BROTHERHOOD

Touching the lives of men, this ministry gives men an opportunity to fellowship, study, pray & support one another.  We are always looking for few good men!

WORSHIP MINISTRIES

GREETING TEAM

A smile, warm handshake, and friendly greeting are all that are needed.  If you want to make people feel welcome to our church this is a place for you.  This is a great place to start serving for newcomers.

USHER TEAM

Ushers greet people as they enter the worship center, help seat people, hand out programs, answer questions, and help take up the offering.      

MUSIC TEAM

The music team provides music for all worship services.  Encouraging the use of talents in music leadership (leading worship through song), praise team (assist music leaders and guide congregation), choir (adult, children, handbell), vocalists (solos, duets, ensembles), and instrumentalists (organ, piano, woodwind, brass, drums, guitar etc.)

AUDIO/VIDEO TEAM

This team is responsible for operating the audio and video equipment during the worship services and prepare the power point slides for announcement and worship slides. 

FELLOWSHIP  MINISTRIES

FELLOWSHIP/HOSTESS TEAM

This team does it all.  They coordinate the set up, cleanup and serving of food at all special events.  If you like food and fellowship this is the place for you. 

CAFÉ TEAM:  (Part of Fellowship Team)

This team manages the busiest, most popular gathering spot in the church—the coffee/tea bar. If your are willing to setup and clean up on Sunday Mornings let Sheal Price know.

FAMILY ACTIVITIES TEAM

Plan, organize, and implement family activities that foster genuine community and fellowship for the entire church. 

FACILITIES MINISTRIES

 BUILDING AND GROUNDS

Painting, cleaning, fixing, ordering supplies and building projects are just some of the things to be done around church.  If interested see Karl Wortman.

INTERIOR DECORATING (Part of Bldg & Grnds)

Do you love to decorate?  If so help improve the décor of our building by serving on the interior decorating team.      

GREEN THUMB TEAM (Part of Bldg & Grnds)

Do you love gardening?  Help beautify the church grounds with flowers, shrubs, and landscaping.

ADMINISTRATIVE MINISTRIES

FINANCIAL MINISTRIES TEAM

The Finance Team presents an annual proposed budget, works with the treasurer providing financial guidance and oversees the financial aspects of the church. 

TELLERS

Each Sunday, two people on this team work together to record weekly contributions and prepare a bank deposit.  A team member normally serves once every two months.

ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE TEAM

Help the pastor and church secretaries with administrative tasks.   There is always something to do. (See Pastor Chris or call the church office.)

ADVERTISEMENT TEAM

This Team advertises church events in the local newspapers and presents ideas of promoting our church to the community.
